The apple-walnut oatmeal is easy to prepare and takes few minutes to prepare it. It is more like eating a dessert for your breakfast and that too without that heavy amount of fats in it. The dish is a great combination of apples, walnuts and cinnamon.
Ingredients for Apple-Walnut Oatmeal
1 medium apple, chopped
1-2 Tbsp / 15 – 30 ml water
1 tsp/ 5 ml cinnamon
½ cup / 120 ml uncooked oats
1 Tbsp / 15 ml chopped walnuts
How to cook:
First of all make sure to cook the packaged meal as given in packaging instructions.
Take a medium size bowl and add the chopped apple to the bowl. Now add cinnamon to the bowl and then toss it with light hands to get proper coat.
Add 1-2 Tbsp of water to a saucepan over medium heat and then add the chopped apple to the pan. Keep cooking until the apple get soften.
The final step is to add the oatmeal, softened apple and walnuts in a single bowl and enjoy your delicious breakfast.
